Laguna Beach Film Society's Special Presentation of SONNY BOY directed by Soleil MoonFrye.
SONNY BOY is the story of the cross-country journey of Soleil Moon Frye, and her father, Virgil Frye,who is suffering from Alzheimer*s disease. Soleil is best known for playing the title role of TV*s PUNKY BREWSTER. Her father was a Golden Gloves boxer as well as an actor, who appeared most memorably in EASY RIDER.
This journey revisits people and places from Virgil's past, and allows Virgil and his daughter to work through their own conflicts, while forging a new relationship that will inevitably be decimated by Alzheimer's. Join us in welcoming Soleil as our guest at this special screening.
